Big Sur Coast Gallery has become the largest known gallery of American Crafts in the United States. What began as a small outlet for Big Sur artists now features thousands of works from over 250 American artists and craftsmen.
Located on California's scenic Highway One between Carmel and the Hearst Castle, the gallery has become a destination for the four million annual travelers.
Situated on Highway One in a Redwood canyon beside a mountain stream, the gallery buildings were crafted from large, recycled Redwood water storage tanks.
The gallery has expanded and added a cafe which over looks the Pacific Ocean. It is not uncommon to see dolphins and whales swimming as you eat lunch.
