BigDog Martial Arts

Coach John "BigDog" Bryant has been learning (Jiu Jitsu) and fighting MMA since 2008. He is a pro fighter with 19 fights under his belt and training for more, a "brown belt" in Taekwondo under Master Russ Lewis of "Lewis's Taekwondo" and A "brown belt" under (black belt), Professor Phillip Wyman of " Kaizen Martial Arts" in Virginia Beach, VA.

Coach Bryant is a family man who has been teaching in this art for five years and it is his passion to teach Jiu Jitsu and the history in a traditional, family oriented environment. He is a dedicated coach that finds joy in sharing his knowledge and time to better his students. He is also a native of Carteret County so he is permanent with his wife and four children, which are also 100% a part of this art. He understands how to teach children with all personalities! He loves when we get visitors from other schools that come in and share some of their knowledge. So if you are just visiting and want to roll, then we welcome you!

BigDog as he is known in "MMA" is very experienced and qualified to train fighters or to just help get you in shape. If you are interested in any of these Martial Arts or just conditioning and our times are not in your agenda. Please contact us anyway because Coach B. also does private lessons. His time is for you, and his family, but his family loves helping him help others.
