Bigleaf Slopes Park

Bigleaf Slopes Park is named after the Magnolia macrophylla, the bigleaf magnolia, a deciduous magnolia native to the southeastern United States and eastern Mexico. This species boasts the largest simple leaf and single flower of any native plant in North America. The Park will open in Spring 2016. This is the "go to spot" for all information about the Bigleaf Slopes Park, owned and managed by Iredell County Parks and Recreation Department. The project is a collaborative project between Iredell County and the Tarheel Trailblazers. The park is approximately 104 acres and will have approximately 4-6 miles of mountain bike and hiking trails once completed.
