Welcome to The Portly Pig Gastropub!

The Portly Pig offers a unique menu selected by owners who truly appreciate the making of good beer and tasty homemade recipes. Despite the name, providing tasty dishes for the serious carnivore, we are also vegetarian and vegan friendly providing such as Amazing Avocado Sliders, our Summer Salad with mango and avocado, Chipotle Black Bean Burgers, Soba Soba or our Naan bread mega sandwich.

To the crafty beer drinkers, those with curious pallets and the homegrown locals, we provide a weekly rotating selection of great craft beers that will satisfy the thirst of any beer enthusiast, including the craft beer connoisseur.

For entertainment, the Portly Pig has Live Music Events every Friday, Saturday and occasionally hosts charity events that all create an amazing environment to socialize, drink some great beer and eat some great food at the end of the day. We also have some additional old school entertainment such as cornhole, backgammon, dominos, chess, scrabble, Uno and checkers to ad to your evenings.

We have Happy Hour every day from 4-7pm as well as some very tasty Sake Cocktails such as our fresh mulled Ginger & Tangerine, Mango, Lychee, Strawberry and homemade Sangrias - all bursting with fresh cut fruit. We also carry various wines for those that prefer grapes to wheat, barley and hops.

If you’re craving cheese, then the Three Cheese Melt is for you! Just picture fresh parmesan, gorgonzola and Monterey Jack cheese melted on a fluffy Naan bread stuffed with our “power pack” greens of kale, arugula and baby spinach, or grill chicken, garlic artichokes and sundried tomatoes, meatloaf, or add all four.

If you like something light, you can try our Mediterranean Platter. Love Olives? We have a selection of 6 varieties of perfectly brined olives flanked by garlic artichokes and sun dried tomatoes. Or, you can try our Jerk wings or our BBQ pork sliders!

If you like traditional, try The Portly Pig's Fat Tire! What would Beer be without the company of Bratwurst? It’s like Bonnie without Clyde, Hansel without Gretel, or Peanut Butter sans Jelly. The Fat Tire is our traditional smooth white Bratwurst grilled then simmered in beer and spices served with our Ground & Brown spicy mustard on a warm bed of tasty, tangy sauerkraut and potatoes.

If you’re hungry, try The Clydesdale! It’s the “El Jefe”, “The Mac Daddy” of all meatballs. A Big, Juicy, Tender meatball lightly seasoned rolled next our house potatoes and finally topped with our homemade red sauce and freshly shaved parmesan cheese.

If you’re a Rib lover, our Brontosaurus Ribs are definitely worth sinking your teeth into. Although not as large in size, they sure make it up in flavor. We marinate our ribs overnight in one sauce only to be slow cooked for hours and hours in yet another secret sauce.

We are located in Dania Bach just 1.5 miles from the beach in the Meadowbrook Plaza, adjacent to the Dania Beach Casino.
