Bill Adams Karate

Bill Adams' Uechi Karate offers classes in a traditional style of Okinawan Karate. Our method of martial arts instruction puts emphasis on cooperative development rather than peer competition. Everyone enjoys the camaraderie, exercise and stress relief studying Uechi-Ryu Karate. Our style's emphasis on technique over strength makes it a style suited to all ages and both genders. Women, men, boys and girls will all achieve improvements in physical and mental performance - all while having fun!

Our school is one of the 14 schools making up the Uechi-Ryu Butokukai. The Butokukai (translated as “a gathering to study the virtues of the martial arts”), is certified by and maintains direct links to the Uechi-Ryu organization in Okinawa.

Bill Adams began his Uechi Karate studies in 1975 and is currently a Fifth Degree Black Belt.
