Billings Sheet Metal Inc. (BSM) was founded in 1989 after James Billings, who had been working for Bergreen Sheet Metal for 12 years, decided to purchase the company when the then owner Betty Bergreen decided to retire. Along with his wife Debbie Billings they purchased the company and renamed it Billings Sheet Metal Inc. The original fabrication shop and office was located at 106 N. Sixth Street in Olean for 17 years before its move in 2003 to 1002 South Union Street, Olean, NY. Billings Sheet Metal Inc. started as a small metal fabrication shop that also installed heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Now in 2017, serving the commercial and industrial markets, it has evolved into a full build design, sheet metal and steel fabrication shop. With the move to the new shop in 2003, they have been able to expand their capabilities to include fabrication of numerous custom products large and small.
