The Binghamton Rescue Mission provides 32 beds to men who have previously experienced homelessness, or were referred to the facility through a community agency. Residents are offered three meals daily, case management, employment resources, spiritual care, transportation to employment and important appointments, and other support services needed to move out of homelessness and into lasting life change.
The Binghamton Rescue Mission also provides permanent affordable housing in a separate single family home, and is working to renovate a second house near its residence at 56-58 Whitney Avenue.
Rescue Mission staff, residents and volunteers serve a monthly community meal, open to all who are hungry, at the United Presbyterian Church.
