Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at BCM

The Verna and Marrs McLean Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is a center for research in the life sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. Our growing department is home to 52 faculty and associated faculty, 61 graduate students, 40 postdoctoral fellows and numerous technical and administrative staff.

This dynamic research community has associated faculty in the departments of Molecular and Human Genetics, Virology and Microbiology, Medicine, Molecular Physiology and Biophysics as well as Neuroscience.
