The Birmingham 8 is an eight screen movie theatre nestled in the heart of downtown Birmingham, Michigan. The theatre, which was originally built as a one screen movie theatre in 1927, was rebuilt and restored in 1996 as a multiplex to show first-run motion pictures. The Birmingham 8 theatre has been recognized architecturally for its design and layout by the American Institute of Architecture.
