Bishop Solutions

Created in 2016 at the request of POLICE TECHNICAL clients, Bishop Solutions quickly established itself as a leader in developing best of class solutions for Cities, Chambers of Commerce and Training lifecycle solutions for Enterprise clients. 2016 was a fast-paced year which saw the development and release of a series of innovative (and industry “disruptive”) projects, which in turn, were crafted as a series of independent products.

The first Bishop project was to develop a visualization solution for a downtown district of a medium-sized Midwestern town. This solution replaced an existing client-based software package, integrating a keyword searchable map, Google Street View™ of the interiors of many locations, while providing key downtown services such as employment and housing. This project was the inspiration for the MainStreet Solution™.

The second Bishop project was to deploy a full lifecycle training solution for a multinational training company based in Chicago. This solution provided integrated replacements for Salesforce (CRM) and RegOnline (Online Registrations), while providing scheduling for scores of instructors and hundreds of courses, tracking for students, and invoicing and financial reporting. This project was the inspiration for the CRM Solution™ and Enterprise class, full lifecycle, Training Solution™.

The third Bishop project was to develop solution for a Chamber of a Commerce, replacing an established software vendor’s 10 year contract. This solution provided the Chamber of Commerce with an integrated full lifecycle solution. Features included: Easy online “on boarding” of new clients, robust services for Chamber members (such as direct marketing and communication), a complete administrative back-end for Chamber management, and a 1st time, dynamic, visual interface for the public, facilitating two-way interaction between Chamber members and the Purchasing Public. This project was the inspiration for the Chamber Solution™.

Additional projects begun in 2016 included development for Government and Private Enterprise:
Cities and Towns – Parks and Recreation (replacing established, industry specific client based software). This project is the inspiration for the upcoming Parks and Rec Solution™ to be released in 2017.

Government – City Services (replacing established, industry specific client based software). This project is the inspiration for the Government Solution™ released in 2017.

Enterprise – Commerce and Enterprise – Medical, both of these custom projects feature industry specific development for large, established clients.

With the growth in the number and diversity of Bishop Solutions projects, growth in need for space (and for Development and Sales team members) was unavoidable. In late 2016, a 12K sq/ft two story downtown building was acquired to provide room for the growing start-up.

With additional team members and room to grow, Bishop is prepped to grow even faster in 2017.
