Bisman Community Food Co-op

We are a diverse group of people in the Bismarck-Mandan area who are working to develop a store-front food cooperative in our community. Over the past 3 years, we have worked tirelessly to research, organize, fundraise, and plan our way through a proven process necessary to making a food co-op a reality. Our 3 values:
1) The BisMan Community Food Co-op sells food.... real food. The co-op’s business model is rooted in the idea that we are what we eat, and that the science and processes used in the production of our food matter, to both the individual and the community the individual is a part of.

2) Empowering community: The BisMan Community Food Co-op is a trusted source of meaningful information about food, health, and wellness in the Bismarck/Mandan community. The Co-op recognizes the need for growing awareness on the impact of food in our community.

3) Economic Fairness
The BisMan Community Food Co-op will pay fair wages to employees, fair prices to producers and farmers, and charges fair prices to members and other patrons. Our staff will be trained, knowledgable, and ready to help serve the community's food's needs.
