Bismarck State College Music Department

The Bismarck State College Music Department trains students to become successful and productive performing musicians, teachers, and music industry professionals, giving them a thorough and comprehensive background in the art and practice of music.

Students who complete the requirements earn an Associate in Arts degree and may transfer as a music major to a four-year college.

BSC has cooperative agreements with Dickinson State University and Minot State University and several other four-year institutions that allow students to continue with and earn a bachelor's degree on the BSC campus. Those transferring to other institutions should consult the catalog of the transfer institution and modify BSC's suggested curriculum where necessary.
