Who We Are:
Established in 2013, the Black Resource Center(BRC) is a Campus Community Center which serves the entire population of UC San Diego while emphasizing the Black experience. Birthed through strong advocacy of students, alumni and other supporters, the BRC seeks to provide support services and foster community for current undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to the student services, the center is positioned as a resource for alumni, faculty, staff, and community at-large.
What We Do:
The Black Resource Center collaborates with various university departments and colleges to offer programs & provide student resources related to recruitment, orientation, retention and graduation. Black Resource Center programs are designed based upon three distinct pillars: Scholarship, Leadership & Community. These programs and services seek to expand students' personal & academic horizons while building community.
