Black Rock Bar & Grill is an award winning steakhouse specializing in Certified Angus Beef steaks that are served on a sizzling stone at the customer’s table creating a guest experience like no other. Customers cook their steaks at their table utilizing the 755 degree stone so that each steak is cooked just the way they like it and every bite is as hot and fresh as the first bite.

This Australia-style Rock Cooking is the newest phenomenon in the culinary world and creates a memorable dining experience making Black Rock the ideal restaurant for a special occasion as well as for everyday dining with friends and family. With a full menu that features a combination of original items and popular favorites there is something for everyone and a wide range of price points. Black Rock also provide an extensive wine selection, a variety of traditional and craft beers as well as a full liquor bar.

In all began in 2010 in Hartland, Michigan a suburb northwest of Detroit where Lonny Morganroth had a vacant restaurant space and decided to open a restaurant that combines his favorite foods from around the country with the unique lava rock cooking method for steaks and seafood that he had seen on his travels. As a big sports fan and a father of four he also decided to keep the restaurants comfortable and inviting for families and couples with a central bar featuring a display of televisions along with an open floorplan that is perfect whether you are dining alone or with a large group. Our heart is in Detroit but we are now expanding throughout United States with stores coming soon to Tampa, Orlando and beyond.
