The History: After coming off of tour in 2009 and returning to Kansas City, Mo.; James and his business associate PL both observed a void in which local artist were not afforded a consistent and reputable way to share the stage with more established national artist. After which they set out to fill that void. By pairing more established artist with a lesser known or indie artist on concert events; Black Vine Enterprises,LLC provided a threefold opportunity. The more established artist maintained relevance in an ever more youth driven market, the lesser known artist could build their fan base by sharing the stage with the more established artist with the larger following, while simultaneously satisfying the new millennials and generation X's appetite for the nostalgia of the greats and the new energy and excitement of up and coming artist and their movements.

The Future: In 2016 Black Vine Enterprises, LLC will continue to fill that void by producing and distributing entertainment through its four subdivisions (Black Vine Media, Vine Street Records, Black Vine Live, and Epifanio Films). By providing content from legendary artist, up and coming artist, independent filmmakers, cultural trail blazers, and taste- makers; Black Vine Enterprises, LLC will strengthen its influence on Pop Culture thereby opening avenues to develop revenue streams and capture a piece of the global marketplace that is ripe with opportunities.
