Black’s Oyster Bar and Seafood was established in 1967, by Wilton “BLACK” Bourque and Rena Bourque. In 1989, Bryan Bourque moved Black's a few doors down to its current location at 319 Pere Megret. Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood is about more than just a name. Our new owners, Chance and Renee Thomas, make sure that Black’s Oyster Bar & Seafood stays a tradition of gathering with friends, family, and strangers while enjoying Grand Isle Salty Raw Oysters, Chargrilled Oysters, Fresh Seafood and Authentic Cajun Cuisine.
