Biography
Shaquansia Love is Sickle Cell Anemia survivor whom was diagnosed with this terminal disease at the age of 4 years old. Through many of trials and tribulations in her life, she strives to lead a normal life and accomplish many things with the help of God and support of her family and friends.
From 2006 to 2008, Shaquansia had near-death experiences with Sickle Cell Anemia, such as, acute chest syndrome and double pneumonia. She has also had numerous hospital admits, over 20 blood transfusions, many pain medications, and gall bladder removal surgery. But she believes after she had received Christ in her life, she is taking fewer medications and has not been in the hospital for Sickle Cell Disease alone since 2009.
God laid it upon her heart to start Blessed Miracles Foundation because of her relationship with Christ. She desired to have a Christian-based foundation to help others like her receive better care, increase awareness for Sickle Cell Disease, and to show others that having a relationship with God will better enhance their quality of life.
She is a devoted wife to Steven Love and mother to three children: Steven Love II, Shaniylah Polnitz, and Starria Love. Shaquansia received her Associate in Applied Science in Health Services Management in December 2012. She is a student at Pensacola State College currently pursuing her Bachelors in Health Administration and Supervision. Shaquansia is also a devoted member of Alabaster Box Christian Ministries, Inc., where Apostle-Designate Derian A. House and Elder Twanna House are the presiding leaders. In her spare time, she enjoys encouraging and praying for others, adventures with her husband, and hanging with friends.
