Blessingdales offers everyday household items at discounted prices. It’s a twofold blessing in that customers buy what they need at or below the regular price they would pay for it in the stores, while providing income and training for AlbanyTeen Challenge students.

The store has helped offset the cost for the students as well as provided vocational training for Albany Teen Challenge, (ATC). ATC is a 12-14 month residential program for hurting young men 17 years & older caught in the vicious cycle of drug and alcohol abuse and other life-controlling problems. ATC’s mission is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive. Through their new lives, they are able to embrace their purpose and fulfill their destiny. Teen Challenge has an international credibility and 75% cure rate since 1958.
