Blessings in a Backpack Oswego Chapter

Blessings in a Backpack is a national organization that helps feed elementary students on the weekends during the school year.

We began the Oswego/Fulton Chapter in 2013 feeding 100 students in both cities. As the years passed we grew to feed 250 students. July 2016 Oswego and Fulton decided to split in hopes to feed more children. Both cities still continue to feed students.

We are always looking for monetary donations, food donations, and volunteers to help pack, deliver, and help with fundraising and spreading the word.

$80 will help feed a student for the whole 38 week school year! That's only $2.10 per week! If you would like more information, please feel free to message me here, call me 315.297.7802. or you can also come to 120 West 5th Street at 4:00 to help pack. We pack most Wednesdays at the Church of the Resurrection. You can drop off food...box Mac and Cheese, spaghetti rings, applesauce cups, fruit snacks, and pop-tarts to, 120 West 5th Street Oswego, Monday through Thursday from 9am-12pm.
