Blue Chili Grass Festival 2017

Get away without going away for Labor Day weekend,

Plan to spend Labor Day with us at the BlueChiliGrass Festival at Goodells County Park. The BlueChiliGrass Festival is the largest one-day music/art festival and chili cook-off in St. Clair County and the Blue Water area. Three stages, one for acoustic music of all genres, one for Celtic & bluegrass, will have music from noon to 8pm. Added this year is a stage for music targeted to children from noon to 5 pm. Eight local restaurants vie for the title of Best Chili at the festival. Jam tent and gates open at 9 am. Admission is $2. Ages 12 and under free, but must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition to the BlueChiliGrass Festival on Monday, the festival kicks off with a rock concert on Sunday, Sepember 3rd, featuring many of the region's most popular high energy bands. The concert will be from 3:30 to 9:30 pm. Gates open at 11:30 a.m., jam tent opens at noon. Admission is $5.

Bring your instruments and participate in a good old fashioned jam session with many of the best musicians around in the jam tent both days. Again this year there will be a large shade tent.

NEW LOCATION WITHIN THE PARK. In the past, we have been located near the Community Center on the south side of the park. This year, we will be on the north side of Goodells County Park by the special event barns, near the Visitors Center. Enter the park through the Lapeer Road entrance to the North Parking Lot.

Festival is held rain or shine. Barns are available in case of inclement weather.
