“Half of the menu is from Mideast and very popular in big cities,” he said. “Other I learned through career, some I created, then mixed with Mediterranean flavor, Mideast and Italian.”
One of his favorite creations has been the Blue Fig Salad. “A lot of people love it,” Daoud said. “It’s unique.”
Sandwiches, from the Eggplant Panini to wraps, burgers and the Gyro, range from $5 to $7.75. Choose fries, chips, fruit, salad, hummus Babaganouj of Muhammara on the side.
“I’m not one of these people who won’t tell you because it’s a secret,” Daoud said.
He might give away some of his ingredients, but it’s his execution of the recipes that would be difficult to replicate
