Blue Hill Observatory and Science Center

Blue Hill Meteorological Observatory is the oldest continually operating weather Observatory in the nation and is now a working museum.
You can visit and see both the history of past accomplishments in Meteorlogical study at Blue Hill and the current studies and scientific exploration being done. It is a great place to hike and can be driven to by arrangement.
The Mission of the Blue Hill Observatory and Science Center is to foster public understanding of and appreciation for atmospheric science, while continuing to maintain a meticulous record of weather observations and long-term study of climate.
