In 1803 the French sold 828,000 square miles of land to the United States, which is now known as the Louisiana Purchase. After Thomas Jefferson purchased all the land he made a very secret and historical address to his people “Today the United States has grown to the scale of a giant! Great things are in store for the America people! But frankly all this work has made me a little tired and parched…surly there must be a real honky tonk place where people can congregate to hear killer tunes and have a nice cold beverage and accommodate international travelers.” For 210 years an operation more secret than the contents of Fort Knox and Area 51 combined began to take shape. In 2001 Jefferson’s dream became a reality when the planets aligned and a beam of psychedelic light crashed down to earth in the most stellar location Louisiana has to offer- The One & Only LAFAYETTE!! With that the Blue Moon Saloon & Guesthouse was created!! We challenge you to find a more interesting hangout with more unique individuals that course through the towns veins.
