Blue Valley North Theatre

At BVN theatre, we have several goals. The first is to provide our students with first rate instruction in the art and technique of theatre. Using a vast resource of industry professionals, we are able to furnish our students with the latest and greatest in the theatre world. We want our students to be able to be successful, no matter what their plans after high school. We believe that providing a strong focus on the arts will accomplish that.

Secondly, our aim is to transcend what most would consider high school theatre. We make every attempt to produce as professional quality shows as we possibly can. This is accomplished by insisting on rigor and dedication from our student artists. Whether working on stage or off, we provide exceptional experiences for our students to grow and excel.

Thirdly, we will entertain and enlighten. Theatre is one of the oldest forms of communication. It can be used to entertain, excite and educate. Aristotle believed that theatre is one of the highest and most effective forms of expression; a way to communicate difficult and controversial ideas. Through an entertainment medium, our goal is to still communicate ideas and tell a fantastic story.
