AMATEUR BBQ COOK OFF
There will also be an amateur BBQ cook off on Sunday, August 5, 2012. There will be three categories (chicken, beef, and ribs). The grand prize is a $500 22.5" Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker!

Rules:
1. All types of smokers and grills allowed (no fryers)
2. All equipment must be suppled by entrants
3. Entrants must provide buckets for wash, rinse, and sanitize (1 Tbls bleach per gal water)
4. All cooking areas must be clean and sanitized
5. Entrants must provide meats of choice
6. Pre cooking not allowed
7. Marinating or preseasoning is allowed
8. Meat will be judged by taste, texture, and appearance
9. Meat samples will be presented to 6 judges in containers suppled by organizer
10. Samples are not to be given to spectators
11. Entrants must complete all three categories in order to qualify for Grand Champion
12. Setup time: 7:30am on August 5, 2012
13. Judging times: Chicken 1:00pm, Beef 1:30pm, Ribs 2:00pm
14) May the best BBQ win!

There is a $15 entry fee per category.
