People were meant to taste, savor and enjoy the foods they eat, so that the brain is also satiated. That makes people happy. Finally, if you are nourishing the body and the mind, it truly satisfies the soul. Think about how good you feel when you’ve eaten a deicious meal, that satisfies every part of your being.
We want everyone to understand that food can taste good, feel good and create that sense of well being. This only happens when there is balance in the nutrition. We have taken the guesswork out of good nutrition, in that we have broken down many different recipes and provided a healthy balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats to ensure that your body gets what it needs, and doesn’t go off on a binge-fest later. In fact, we’ve created an easy way to understand good nutrition by offering percentages of the macro nutrients in every meal. Macro nutrients are the main components of nutrition, they are the protein, carbohydrates and fats in the foods we eat. We’ve done that “heavy lifting” for you, so that you can choose any meal option we have created and be assured that it has that wonderful balance that everyone needs.
Macro nutrients also serve a specific purpose. Protein is a key component in every cell in the human body. Protein is a key building block for muscles, bones, cartilage, skin and blood. The body does not store protein, so if you have not consumed it, there are no storage areas for your body to draw from, except from your muscles! The more muscle someone has, the faster their metabolism, so depriving yourself of protein can actually contribute to your weight gain.

That theory has been dispelled by doctors and researchers, finding that it is highly processed foods that contain artificial ingredients, food additives, preservatives and a host of other unhealthy ingredients that are causing people to have issues with weight and metabolic syndromes. Healthy fats, in moderation are essential for the absorption of nutrients, provide energy and are important for healthy hair and skin.
