The racial makeup of the CDP was 55.13% White, 34.87% African American, 1.03% Native American, 5.64% from other races, and 3.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.56% of the population.There were 148 households out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% were married couples living together, 14.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% were non-families. 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 3.06.
