BookTree is a full service Independent New and gently used Bookstore with Author Events, Poetry Readings, Bookclubs, Workshops, and much more. Owners Mary and Chris are passionate about books and literature and believe bookstores are also important community gathering places that allow the open exchange of ideas. We offer our own and others recommendations on books in most genres from infants to adults. We can get you the right book for whatever mood you are in. We're a cozy place to browse,and have a children's room and weekly StoryTime (ever Wednesday at 11) too. We have gift certificates, loyalty cards and are happy to special order any book in print. We have books ranging in price from a couple of dollars to approximately $50 with a few collector's and special items priced higher. We also have an in-store book club that meets the last Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. to discuss the book we are reading/have read for that month! Most events and meetings are FREE!
