Discover Hidden Treasure
Located in eastern Kern County, California, on Borax Road north of Highway-58, the Borax Visitor Center offers guests the opportunity to learn more about borax and how the mineral is mined and refined. Boron can be found in our food and many products we find around us everyday, from flat-screen televisions and smart devices to fiberglass and cosmetics.

Hours of Operation
Normal hours of operation are seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, excluding major holidays and weather permitting (rain will entail closure of access road for safety reasons). Last entry 4.30pm.
