Krav Maga Yashir Boston is a tactical survival education center, serving the greater Boston area and beyond. The center uses situational training, as well as the SEPS (Situation Effective Protection System) personal safety framework to prepare students for survival against acts of violence in today's world. Training includes, but is not limited to, mugging/financial threats, spontaneous/rage incidents, active shooter scenarios, hostage/abduction situations, travel security, ground survival, third party protection, etc.
The Krav Maga Yashir curriculum is developed and taught by head instructor Gershon Ben Keren (author of "Krav Maga: Real World Solutions to Real World Violence") and 5ht degree black belt in Krav Maga. Gershon uses his background in psychology, the security sector, and the martial arts, as well as his research and first-hand experiences of violence, to inform the teachings of the school. The goal of Krav Maga Yashir Boston is to effectively train all people, regardless of age, ability, gender, or experience, to survive threats and acts of violence they may face, as individuals, or part of a group.
The training facility at 200 Terminal St in Charlestown, MA is 16,000 square feet, and enjoys free parking.
