Boston Tae Kwon Do Academy in Winthrop, Massachusetts officially opened in 1996 by World Class Martial Artist and 4th Degree Black Belt Master Jorge “Goldenfeet” Alves. Master Alves was one of the first students of 7th degree Black Belt Master Joseph Pina, founder of the original Boston Tae Kwon Do Academy, which opened its doors in 1981. Currently, there are four locations.

Our academy has proven to be the finest school in the area, dedicated to making your martial arts experience an enjoyable, educational and exciting journey. Our instructors lead by example and teach each and every student equally with enthusiasm and patience. They have studied and trained for years to qualify as part of the Boston Tae Kwon Do Academy team.
