- Adjective meaning extravagant, often to the point of snobbery. Usually used in relation to the conspicuous consumption of the urban upper-middle class. Derived from "bourgeoisie"
- short for bourgeois (french origin meaning snotty self-centered middle and upper middle class), anyone pretentious and trying too hard to be classy.

Our donuts are bougie, meaning, they are fancy but are really just the creative sum of simple ingredients. We take our donut creations seriously, ourselves on the other hand…. There is no room for snobbery at Bougie's. We welcome all levels of donut and coffee connoisseur and hope to see you soon!!!

Bougie's Donuts is a unique, gourmet donut shop and full service coffee/espresso bar located in Southwest Austin (Sunset Valley). We aim to bring people together over an amazing donut and finely crafted espresso or cup of coffee. Our goal is to elevate the “traditional” donut experience, to love our employees well, and to provide excellent service to our customers.
