The purpose of this page is to educate the public about the Bourne Firefighters IAFF Local 1717 and it's dedication to the advancement of the moral, economic and social standing of the members who represent the Bourne Fire Department.

Bourne Fire / Rescue and Emergency Services proudly serves the 20,256 residents and countless visitors to the town of Bourne annually. Our Firefighters/Paramedics and Firefighters/Emergency Medical Technicians responded to 4,686 emergency calls for service in 2014. These emergencies include fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, water rescues, etc.

In addition to the emergency services we provide, we also provide many other non-emergency services ranging from child passenger safety seat inspections to public safety educational presentations in order to keep our community safe. Whatever the emergency, or when you don't know who else to call for help, Bourne Fire Department is always there for you.

It is with great pride and purpose that the men and women of the Bourne Fire Department dedicate themselves to providing the most effective and efficient response to any emergency in our community.
