With access to the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument across the Bowlin bridge, you are steps away from a hike or fat bike ride on the International Appalachian Trail. Bowlin Lodge and Cabins offers guests a diversity of outdoor experiences all year long. Specializing in bird hunting in the fall, bear, deer, moose and coyote hunting in their seasons. We offer sighting ranges for both bow and gun hunters, and Five Stand Clays for those wanting to hone their skills.
During the spring and summer months enjoy fishing, canoeing or kayaking right outside your cabin door. On the river experience the breathtaking waterfalls and scenery of the North Woods of Maine, with a good likelihood of spotting wildlife like Maine moose, lynx, deer and many bird species.
In the winter months, enjoy the best snowmobiling anywhere. Our average snow fall amount is 90 inches. Have no fear of running out of trails to ride! We carry an ample supply of high octane gasoline on the grounds to insure a fun filled day.
