As a faculty and staff. we are dedicated to help each student R.E.A.C.H his/her full potential. We live and work by our mission statement, which is summarized by R.E.A.C.H. We strive to foster respect, empowerment, achievement, a sense of community, with the highest expectation for each and every learner. The talented staff at Boyle Road is committed to our students, their families, and the community.
Our priority at Boyle Road is learning. To ensure every child’s success, the staff works together in collaborative teams. Our focus on collaboration maximizes learning for every child. We also believe that partnering with parents is essential. When parents and the school work together student success and achievement increases.
We provide students and their families with a safe and respectful learning environment which celebrates and honors individual diversity. Boyle Road is a bucket filling school. Our school-wide focus is based on the book How Full Is Your Bucket? For Kids by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer.
The premise of the book is that everyone carries an invisible bucket containing feelings. When one’s bucket is full, he/she feels great. When one’s bucket is empty, he/she feels sad. Bucket fillers are those people who say or do nice things for others. By doing this, they fill other people's buckets, filling their own bucket at the same time! On the other hand, a bucket dipper says or does things to cause other people to feel bad. A bucket dipper empties their bucket when they say and do mean things. A bucket dipper is a bully. We all work daily to be bucket fillers in every thing we say and do.
