AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The after-school program is available to youth each day from the time school lets out until 6:30 PM. The Club is also open on school holidays and early release days. Upon arrival at the Club, members are fed a snack through a partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture and are allowed some free time. After snack and free time all members participate in a 30-40 minute Power Hour program where they receive tutoring and homework is completed. Opportunities for programs in all five core program areas: The Arts, Health and Life Skills, Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation are available once Power Hour ends.
