Originally incorporated as the Boys Club of Martinez, The Club was renamed the Boys & Girls Club of Martinez in 1986 and added a chartered club unit in Rodeo in 1988. In June 2002, the organization adopted its new name of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Diablo Valley. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Diablo Valley currently reaches over 1,000 youth aged 6-18 through its various programs.
