LEARN – We provide youth with alternatives to the public school education process. Our education component allows youth to study and prepare to pass the GED requirements.
LIVE – We provide youth with job skills training, using on-the-job mentoring from Academy staff or designated community volunteers. Youth will have the opportunity to learn usable skills such as welding, plumbing, electrical, Sheetrock, vinyl siding, office clerical, landscaping, painting, etc.
LEAD – We provide youth with one on one mentoring to help navigate and educate our youth on the importance of education, addictions, gangs, etc. Also through the mentoring process we will be training and emphasizing for our youth to use the mentoring skills they have acquired to become mentors themselves and productive Leaders in our communities. We will also introduce youth to recreational activities which they would otherwise not be involved in, such as camping, basketball, baseball, fishing, physical training, soccer, etc.
