Breath of Life Birth Center & Women's Health Services

Breath of Life was founded in 2007 to provide women in the Tampa Bay area with a safe alternative to traditional medical care before, during and after their childbearing years. Staffed by award-winning Certified Nurse Midwives, Breath of Life is Florida’s only nationally-accredited freestanding birth center. We offer exceptional care for women who are seeking a natural pregnancy, labor and birth, as well as for those seeking a more personal well-woman care experience. Breath of Life follows the Midwives Model of Care and has so far welcomed more than 900 babies into the world in its three water birth-ready birthing suites. The center is a division of New Life Solutions and welcomes women of all faiths and backgrounds. All major insurance plans, self-pay and Pregnancy Medicaid are accepted.
