Simchah (Sim' Kuh) Huizar, owner and founder of Breath of Life yoga, offers personal, compassionate, Christ-centered Yoga & Therapy for those who need a peaceful and heart-centered approach to improving their health.

She has been practicing and teaching yoga for the last 9 years. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and Certified Yoga Therapist (CYT) with Yoga Alliance. She has also earned her 200 E-RYT and is actively registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Her conviction is that all human beings are beautiful inside and out, and she rejects the current societal pictures of physical feminine beauty and masculinity that are thrust upon us. She aims to empower her yoga students to use their yoga practice as an opportunity to rejuvenate their bodies, renew their minds, and revive their hearts, regardless of age or current fitness level.

In this vein, she works hard to modify her classes to her students' needs and takes an interest in her students' lives, in order to better cater to their emotional and physical needs and progress, creatively merging a well-rounded variety of approaches and exercises, including the use of different music to invigorate or relax her students.

Rather than boring classes and routine, each class may have something new and surprising, and even fun. Her students describe her classes as inspiring, informative, motivating, uplifting, challenging, and "close-knit, like family", a "mini get-away", full of spirit, energy, and heart.
