Bridal Art by Marissa Julin

Marissa has been a hairstylist for over ten years and finds peaceful yet creative energy when she’s working. Her love of art and people come together beautifully in this industry. Upon graduating from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 2001, she began her career working at Anna's Salon Elite. In 2009, she moved to Chicago and her career began to evolve in a new way. She decided to specialize in bridal and formal hairstyling, eyelash extensions, and jewelry design at The Bridal Beauty Salon. In 2011, her hairstyle for model Savannah Thomas graced the cover of Inspire. Working with photographer Emily Gualdoni and make up artist Jill Mitchell, they also provided two full pages of hairstyles within the book. During the years spent in Chicago, Marissa had multiple weddings each weekend and has done hundreds of hairstyles for fabulous brides to be, along with their parties. In 2012, Marissa went back to her roots in Pittsburgh and has continued her journey in the bridal world. For this girl, fancy hair, handmade jewelry, and lash extensions are where it’s at. Every day is a day to make someone gorgeous and feel special.
