Bridges Healthcare, Inc. is a community of dedicated caregivers committed to providing comprehensive and effective mental health, integrated primary care services and addiction recovery programs for adults, children and families.

Bridges is a state-designated Local Mental Health Authority for Milford, Orange and West Haven, offering specialized, recovery-focused services to support individuals with severe and prolonged mental illness and addiction problems.

Bridges offers help to those who are dealing with short-term issues as a result of the challenges and stress of everyday life. Our team consists of social workers, psychiatrists, APRN's, psychologists, case managers, social rehabilitation and vocational specialists, prevention specialists, crises and emergency professionals and child therapists who work tirelessly to provide high quality care to some of our most vulnerable citizens.

Bridges understands the challenges of mental illness affect people of all ages, that’s why we’re designed to provide effective treatment for everyone from children to adults. Bridges is a leader in integrating behavioral and primary healthcare services. We were proud to be one of the original 13 mental health facilites in the county to be part of a pilot program linking our treatment programs and behavioral health providers with primary care providers, so everyone on the health care team can work together work toward the best possible outcome for our clients. Bridges understands that mental illness and addiction affect every aspect of a person’s life.
