Our Curriculum
Creative Curriculum: This curriculum services our children ages 6 weeks – three years old. The curriculum gives our caregivers tools on how to create routines and give them experiences that respond to children’s strengths, needs, and interests. The teachers create their own weekly lesson plans and newsletters that will let our parents know that we are working on with their children.

Houghton Mifflin Curriculum: Our thorough curriculum services our Preschool and Pre-k classrooms. This helps prepare our children for Kindergarten. The curriculum involves a lesson plan that will enhance oral language, vocabulary, listening comprehension, print and phonological awareness, and letter recognition skills. It teaches important math skills such as classifying and sorting, number recognition and number concepts. The activities that the curriculum offers will help children to explore social, emotional, and physical development, science, social studies, and creative art.

The Buttefly and Caterpillar Rooms
Our youngest infants are loved and nurtured by their teachers. At this age they are reaching new milestones every day such as rolling, sitting, crawling, and cruising. Our infants are bonding and learning to trust their caregivers as their needs are met through predictable and developmentally appropriate routines. Our well trained infant teachers plan activities that will enhance sensory, memory, and auditory skills. Our infants are continuously exploring and learning about their environment with the tender guidance of their devoted teachers.

The Bees and Dragonfly Rooms
As our infants begin to assert their independence and utilize newly developed walking skills, they will transition to the Toddler room. Here they will continue to improve both gross and fine motor skills. Toddlers are also developing important language and self help skills, all while exploring their environment. Toddlers have a close relationship with their caregivers. During the day they are reading, singing, and doing different activities and games to enhance their minds.

The Dolphins and Sea Turtles Room
As their energy increases, our toddlers will transition to the two year old room. Our teachers provide a balance of structure, guidance, and nurturing. This allows our two year olds to develop their social skills, attention spans, and gross and fine motor skills. Through carefully planned activities and games our Two's are learning to recognize their names, colors, numbers, shapes, and alphabet. They also enjoy listening to books and singing fun songs to develop their listening and auditory skills.

The Safari and Rainforest Rooms
As our three year olds enter early preschool they begin the journey that leads to their ultimate goals, Pre-k and then Kindergarten. In these classrooms children learn about their world through music, art, play, and literature that is woven and taught through the use of the Houghton Mifflin curriculum. Children have fun going through their centers and playing with their friends while participating in activities that will promote the mind.

The Farm
This room involves our Pre-k classroom as well as our Kindergarten class. Our Pre-k children will continue to use the Houghton Mifflin curriculum while they are on their way to Kindergarten. All the skills that are taught to them in class will prepare them for their future in school. The Kindergarten children receive opportunities for homework time, art activities, and other fun activities to help them wind down from school.

Space Raiders
This program allows our School-Age children to explore different types of art, media, science, games, and sports activities. Children in the aftercare program are provided undistributed time to work on homework. After a full day of school, these children are able to unwind in an enjoyable yet cognitively stimulating environment. We also have a wonderful Summer Camp program which includes swimming, bowling, miniature golf, and other weekly excursions.
