In October 2006, we opened our one of a kind state of the art dance studio in West Mobile, Alabama to approximately 200 students, a bit larger than anticipated! Now entering our 10th season in Mobile,over 550 students call Broadway South their home. Due to demand, we have added a Saraland, Alabama location on Hwy 43 to serve Northern Mobile. We have family friendly locations to choose from: West Mobile (Shillinger/Cottage Hill area-6000sf), Regency (Airport/University behind Applebee's/Chick Fil-A-5000sf) Our facilities are on par with the top studios in the country such as Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, and School of American Ballet and are unique in Mobile. Broadway South has one of the most versatile and fascinating staff in the Gulf Coast area. Our faculty has been seen on ESPN, ABC, MTV, Oxygen, Style Network, and TLC. Our staff has trained at top schools such as Joffrey Ballet, New York City Ballet, Steps, Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, Gus GIordano, Debbie Renyolds School, and Tisch School of The Arts. Performances of our staff includes appearances with Paula Abdul, Ben Vereen, Chita Rivera, Liza Minelli, Debbie Allen, Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Suzanne Farell, and Whoopie Goldberg, to name a few and our talented faculty has danced on stages that span the world.
