Here at Broken P we believe in keeping the horse's spirit intact, I realize a horse looks for the easy way out, so if I make easy way into work and my way a pleasure he will pick my way and doing willingly. That is the trick to having a great horse one that wants to work for you, one that is willing to do whatever you ask. Not because he Has to but because he wants to. When starting a horse it is not a 30 day program it's a 45 day program. Why? It's simple I want the horse to accept everything asked of him, and not be rushed. In that 45 days I do everything I can to desensitize a horse: plastic bags, ropes, cars, bicycles, loud noises, dogs etc.. I will trailer, trail ride, and take the horses to various arenas. I want not just the client happy but the horse to be happy when he goes home and the owner rides him. Our full care is one of the best: stalls cleaned twice daily, water buckets cleaned daily, fed twice a day with a mid day haying. All supplements included plus aloe Vera. We have a hot and cold water wash rack, all horses are groomed daily, including hooves cleaned. If they need trimmed it is included,(shoeing is an additional charge). Music is played in the barn 24 hours a days to help keep them calm. If there is an issue pawing, cribbing I will talk to owner on possible remedies. My training techniques are very similar to Carson James.
