Hi Facebook! And welcome to my page!
For starters, heres a little bit of info about myself. My name is Jessica, I am the wife of an amazing man, and the mother of two INCREDIBLE children. I am a Stay At Home, Homeschooling mom and I Love every minute of it! And I think this one is obvious, but, I love to Knit and Crochet!

My Grandmother taught me to Crochet when I was around 7 or 8, and when I was 20 years old I taught myself to knit and fell in love! I still love to crochet but knitting has a special place in my heart now.

My children are what inspires me most, but I'm also inspired by nature and animals, art and music, books and television, you know, Lots of stuff.

I started this Business in 2011 when my daughter was one as a way to make a little extra money so I could stay home to care for her, and it has been such a blessing to me! I've loved creating and making new designs for so many people, it really is a fun experience for me, and seeing my creations being worn and loved makes me incredibly happy! So Thank you to those who have supported me from the beginning and to those who continue to do so, You Rock!

What do I Make?
I Make and sometimes Design, Custom, Knit and Crochet Hats, Scarfs, Headbands, Blankets, Cocoons, Dolls, You name it!

Why Broken Rib Creations?
I get asked a lot how I came up with my business name, and the truth is, I did not.. My Husband did. When I was trying to come up with a name for my business, I. Had. Nothing. So I went to my husband for some much needed help. My husband was flipping through one of my knitting books and came across a stitch pattern called the Broken Rib stitch, and suggested I use that in the name because it was "a awesome name for a stitch!" I was hesitant at first but after we came up with Broken Rib Creations, It made me think of Adam and Eve,

Genesis 2:21-24(NKJV)

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

23 And Adam said:

“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

After That, I knew it was the perfect name.
