Brookshire New Birth Ministries

New Birth Ministries is a Christ-centered women’s drug and alcohol rehabilitation center/half-way house that boasts a good success rate for women that complete the program successfully. Upon entering our facility, women are required to sign a contract committing themselves to our six months to one year program.

God gave Pastor Beverly Vaughn the gift to serve as a child and God gave her the vision for a ministry in 1989 when she was saved and filled with the Spirit of God. Through much prayer and fasting, New Birth Ministries was founded in 2003. In 2010, God increased Pastor Beverly Vaughn’s vision and established a gift shop, Help A Sista Out Trinkets and Treasures, which serves as a conduit for financial support for New Birth Women’s Refuge and undergirds the mission of the refuge by providing job training for the residents.

New Birth Ministries (NBM) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The organization provides support and counseling in a residential setting for women with addiction issues. A community fellowship has grown out of New Birth Ministries’ outreach to women. Currently the fellowship holds Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. with a community supper beginning at 6 p.m. The fellowship worships on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. All services are held at the women’s refuge at 2122 Woods Road, Brookshire, Texas 77423.
