Brookside Optometric Group

Brookside Optometric Group was established in 1998 with the merging of three established optometric practices in the city of Stockton, California. The goal was to provide complete primary eyecare by incorporating the skills and interests of the 14 doctors that practice here. We employ the most state of the art equipment for disease detection and have good working relationships with the ophthalmologists and specialists that go on to treat more difficult cases in conjunction with our patient management. The relationships we form with our patients, as well as the relationships our staff forms with our patients, attend to their needs with everything from insurance authorization questions to the tests we perform to the right eyeglass frames for cosmetic appeal as well as function. We have our own in-house lab with a very experienced optician for providing service to our patients as well as answering technical optical questions. Dr. John H. Zeiter comes to our office regularly to examine our patients' conditions in the setting with which the patients are most familiar. By establishing one larger practice, we can serve our patient base by being open early, staying open late and offering Saturday appointments as well.
