Brown's Auction Service

In 2005, Bob and Krista Brown purchased property in Kangley, IL from Krista’s parents, Rod and Sharon Garrett. The Garretts had previously owned and operated a successful motorcycle dealership on the site for many years. When deciding what to do with the property, the Browns took into consideration Bob’s love for people and his natural sales ability and decided to open an auction service.

Bob Brown graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. Bob began his auction service at the Kangley site with the help of his mentor and friend, John Lauf. Bob has conducted many successful consignment, estate, charity and real estate auctions.

Our honest, hard work and attention to detail have brought us positive feedback in our first years in business. Brown’s Auction Service is proud to be a family owned and operated business. We look forward to serving the people of Central Illinois and beyond in this capacity for many years to come.
