BTU's Social Media Policy

BTU does not, under any circumstances, allow graphic, obscene, or explicit comments, nor do we allow comments that are abusive, hateful, or intended to defame anyone or any organization. Failure to adhere to these regulations will result in removal of your comment and/or suspension from the page. Comments should remain on topic and be relevant to the utility.

Additional Rules:

•Questions from member of the news media will not be posted. Media members should direct their questions to the Public Information Officer.
•Comments promoting or opposing any person campaigning for election to a political office or promoting or opposing any ballot proposition are prohibited.
•For protection of privacy, comments that include personal information such as phone number are prohibited.
•Anonymous postings are prohibited. Commenters are requires to use their full names and may be contacted to verify their authenticity.
